Work Experience
Harvester Pet Products 2010 - Present
Part Time
I currently work part time during my holidays at Harvester Pet Products as a product packer. This involves packing hay and straw into various sized bags ready for sale to pet stores. As I am allowed to work what hours I want this job gives me a great deal of independence. My skills are continually developed in keeping to order deadlines and following Health and Safety guidelines. I also have to take the initiative if machines break down or stock runs out while the boss is away, to find another way of completing an order.
Self Employment 2009 - Present
Part Time
I currently work part time running a automated web-hosting reseller website. If you wish you can visit my site at http://www.grabsomespace.com . This venture has taught me a great deal about basic business skills and developed my skills in managing e-commerce websites.
Hugh Christie Technology College 2009 - 2011
Part Time
I worked at Hugh Christie as a Lunch Monitor 2-3 times a week, this involved monitoring students during lunch periods to ensure they did not go out of bounds, ensuring that students were well behaved and dealing with any fights that broke out.
EQOS 2008 - 2010
Part Time Work Experience
I worked part time at EQOS (Now Trace One) once a week for 2 years as a member of the Technician team, also doing some work setting up 2008 servers and testing software compatibility with the new servers. The Technician work I carried out involved fixing pc's, building new machines, imaging machines and network cabling. This job allowed me to develop my skills that I learnt from Server 2008 and Networking and put them into practice in a real company.
Technical Skills
Programming
Programming languages that I have used include C++, Object Pascal, Visual Basic and NXC. I am a fast and reasonably fluent programmer, capable of creating complex programs, and am able to pick up and learn new coding methods quickly.
Networking
I have over 2 years networking experience between my Diploma for IT Professionals and some practical experience during my work experience with EQOS. I can create simple networks and have learnt the basics to building small corporate networks. In the future, after university, I hope to gain my full CCNA Qualification.
Server 2008
I have learnt Windows Server 2008 through self teaching and a short course with the Open University. I have undertaken one of my exams for Network Infrastructure and hope in the future to complete 4 other exams to gain either MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008 or MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
Web Design
Using software such as Dreamweaver I can create functioning websites using HTML, CSS and PHP. In the future I hope to develop my knowledge on creating dynamic websites to be able to make more useable websites.

I attended the 2007 World Scout Jamboree in Essex as an participant, and also got a chance to attend the 2011 Jamboree in Sweden as a member of the Service Team. In 2012 I am joining around 20 other Kent Network Scouts(18+) to climb Kilimanjaro.
Archery
I am currently an GNAS(Grand National Archery Society) approved instructor, capable of teaching beginners lessons. I enjoy archery as much as I enjoy teaching it, although I usually only get the chance to do it when I am camping with the scouts.
