study investigating the relationship between antibiotic and antibacterial resistance in
human skin bacteria isolated from individuals in the home environment, relative to
frequent use of topical antibacterial bath soaps and body washing products. Involves
participant recruitment and enrollment, home visits collecting skin bacteria samples,
sample processing and antibiotic and antibacterial resistance testing of bacterial isolates,
data organization, analysis, and management. Provides assistance with indoor
environment investigations and analyzes bioaerosols and other environmental samples
(water, dust, etc.) for bacterial and fungal contaminants.
