Objective: To be employed in a position to appropriately utilize my 30 years of master scheduling, planning management, scheduling, and supply chain experience.
Professional Titles: Planning Manager, Master Scheduler, Manufacturing Engineer, Business Analyst, New Product Planner/Planner/Scheduler, Sales Order Scheduler.
Planning Manager 13 years with maximum of 6 direct reports while with Texas Instruments and Halliburton. Forecasted inventory, obsolescence, and cost of goods sold for all 7 geophysical product lines on a monthly basis for a year looking forward window for a period of 4 years. The monthly inventory was between $700 and $900 million, and the cost of goods sold per month generally was between $400 and $250 million for all product lines combined.
Master Scheduler 15 years handling a total of 7 different expensive and complex products using 4 different MRP systems, including SAP, with T.I., Halliburton, and Suntron.
Manufacturing Engineer 15 years documenting and personally implementing over 23 lean/process improvements with cost savings exceeding $200,000 in just 2 years. Initiated, approved, and implemented thousands of engineering change orders, and engineering drawings. Also, designed and built a tool which allowed a patent to be applied for and attained.
New Product Planner/Planner/Scheduler responsible for the introduction of several new servers using SAP assisted the management and forecasting of obsolete inventory and prevented write-off of $750k power supply inventory while simultaneously coordinating new product manufacturing generating $35 million in revenue. I personally positively impacted Compaq's bottom line by over $11 million in just over 4 months. Executed stock purchasing requisitions with $250K signatory authority.
Business Analyst 3 years while with Compaq, using SAP was responsible for allocating the distribution between 9 worldwide facilities the components which our vendors could not supply sufficient quantities to meet our needs. The objective was generally to have everyone share the pain equally, unless the component was needed for different types of computers. The servers took precedence over the laptops which took precedence over the desk tops due to the revenue impact of each type of computer compared to the others.
Sales Order Scheduler 4 years with Bray Controls scheduling all non-project sales orders bringing our on time shipment percentage from the mid 60% to over 97%.
