Resume:

VICTORIA LEONARD

**** ****** ***, *** *********, CA 94121-2605

415-***-****

*******@****.***

http://vleonard.com

SKILLS:

1. Client-Side Programming:

I am fluent in HTML 2.0-4.01, CSS, including CSS1, CSSP

and cross-platform DHTML, using JavaScript, JScript, and

ECMAScript. I write clean, well-commented code. Universal

Accessibility and the never-ending search for browser

compatibility are particular interests of mine.

2. Server-Side and Other Programming:

I have written programs to upload files to a server,

generate email messages and process forms, using

Server-Side JavaScript. I have written one PalmOS

application using C++, and have adapted programs written

in perl and PHP. I use WML (XML) to make web pages

viewable in wireless devices. I have used CVS for

version control. I create eBooks using PML.

3. Art Processing and Animation:

I use Fireworks, DeBabelizer, and Adobe Photoshop. I can

also do resource editing in ResEdit, Resorcerer and

CodeWarrior's Constructor. I have done some client/server

Flash ActionScripting.

4. Hardware, etc. Skills:

I have also put together AppleTalk and Ethernet networks

and helped administer an NT web server. I also fix office

equipment.

WEB SITES:

Logitech QuickCam

http://www.quickcam.com/html/index.html

I created a server-side application that takes input from

a form in a Flash movie and generates an email. I also

created one that allows the user to upload video and

images along with a message. In the Developer Program

section, I created a server-side application that emails

input from an HTML form and automatically downloads an

executable.

Embarcadero Technologies

http://www.embarcadero.com/

I created the DHTML templates which were used to create

this site. I also converted PDF files into HTML pages.

Secret Hiding Places

http://www.secrethidingplaces.com/

Working from someone else's graphics, I created a site

that would work in any browser. Features that will not

work in your browser are dynamically replaced with

something that does. This is done with cross-platform

DHTML.

Earth Day

http://www.recyclemore.com/

I created the registration form for this site, and

adapted their perl script to process it.

Zada Ventures

http://www.zada.com/

I did the Flash detection code for this site. I also

worked on some PHP code that allows clients to upload

files and some that generates dynamic pages. I used

regular expressions for form validation.

KidzEyes

http://www.kidzeyes.com/

Not all features are active on this site since the

back-end programming is still being done. I did the

client-side coding for this site.

Barclays Global Investors iShares

http://bgi.neog.com/

Warning: this is a huge site that takes forever to load.

It also only works on version 4 browsers at this time.

It's still in development, so this is not the final URL.

I did the scrolling text boxes and the pop-up menus using

DHTML.

Bottom-Duvivier

http://www.b-d.com/

A portfolio site for an architectural firm featuring

multiple-image rollovers and rollover animations done in

JavaScript.

Caltrans Bay Bridge

http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/eastspans/

This is a government site, so I stressed universal

accessibility. Anything that can access a web site,

including Braille readers and text to speech devices can

reach all the information on this site. I had nothing to

do with designing the look.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

http://www.ringling.com

Here is another site that was a big team effort. I did

some coding and some art processing.

These are only some of the sites that I have worked on. Some

are not open to the general public. Then there's the list of

sites that are no longer up, of companies that have merged

or gone out of business. sigh...
