Acting Technical Director of FA Financial Systems and FA Discoverer reporting. Responsibilities included staff direction, management reporting, issue tracking and resolution, accounting operational and reconciliation support, close calendar maintenance, nightly, weekly and month end close processing, communications, training, documentation, functionality and break-fix testing, SQL query creation end execution for research and reporting, and production support activities for Oracle 11i Fixed Assets and Project Accounting systems, as well as Discoverer 10g reporting for financial systems with an asset base of over 6 million assets. Participated in upgrade from Oracle 11.5.8 to 11.5.10. Also responsible for Oracle FA system activities for an asset conversion of 300,000 assets related to acquisition activities. Participated in team to convert and merge current applications and functionality into corporate Oracle Release 12 including requirements gathering, functional design, gap analysis, issue identification, recommendations and resolution, conversion planning, and integration with legacy systems primarily Supply Chain and Asset Tracking applications.

Developed and delivered training for Oracle Projects 11i. Developed materials and exercises for 2 courses; a 2-day course for accountants and non-network personnel, and a 3-day course for network project managers. Trained approximately 150 participants in 10 classes. Training was significantly behind schedule and had quality issues when Ms. Bagwell joined the engagement, but she was able to bring the training development back on schedule and met all deadlines with quality materials. Also provided end user support at go-live. Following go live, Ms. Bagwell was involved in post-implementation support and design and testing of additional functionality for Projects and Fixed Assets.

Business analyst for conversion of in-service assets to Oracle 11i related to merger activities. Responsibilities included detail design, documentation, testing and validation. Team converted over $10B in assets. Key resource for post implementation clean up activities. Additionally, participated as a business analyst on the team to execute rationalization activities into the FA subledger. Responsibilities included high level design, detail design, workplanning, documentation and testing. Over $1.3B in assets were rationalized and depreciation acceleration activities were booked.

Services and Welding Company (Atlanta, Georgia)

Reviewed current processes and configuration for a $150M services company that had been live on Oracle Release 11.0.3 for 18 months. Provided and implemented recommendations around Project Costing, Project Billing, Legacy Time and Expense integration, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, General Ledger, Budgeting, and Cash Management. Supported configuration for use of new functionality. Trained and supported users across all functional areas. Designed, developed and tested reports for all applications utilizing Oracle Developer. After initial Oracle applications work, served as Acting IT Director for 6 months. Managed internal IT staff in areas of network administration, applications maintenance and development, help desk support, IT purchasing, software licensing, hardware tracking, telephony support, audio visual maintenance, database administration, email administration, and software training. Created scalable organization that will facilitate company growth of 100% in next 5 years including defining resource needs and roles. Initiated and facilitated a cross-organizational task force to facilitate communications and requirements gathering. Performed preliminary planning for an upgrade from Oracle Release 11.0.3 to Release 11i and developed integration and user acceptance test plans for the upgrade.

Mid-Market Digital Marketing Company (Seattle, Washington)

Performed post implementation support for Oracle 11.5.9 in Project Costing, Project Billing, Receivables, Payables and General Ledger. Company was struggling after rapid implementation and needed to close their books to meet a tight audit deadline. Added missing functionality, provided business and application support and training to end users. Identified and resolved significant show stopper issues to help client meet deadlines. Led key initiatives to address requirements for multi-currency across all applications, revenue forecasting entry and reporting, and custom invoicing development. Additionally, Ms. Bagwell participated in efforts to integrate two recently acquired companies into the corporate applications and processes.

Project Manager for a process design effort including planning for a series of facilitated workshops incorporating best practices and benchmarks around process design and identifying follow-up issues in anticipation of an upgrade effort from Oracle 10.7 and JDEdwards to Oracle version 11i. Process areas included General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory. The team had approximately 12 team members and each workshop held approximately 30 participants.

Fortune 100 Consumer Business Company (Omaha, Nebraska)

Served as deployment lead for large Oracle General Ledger and Fixed Assets implementations at a Fortune 100 Consumer Business Company. Responsibilities included developing detailed workplans, determining deployment and data conversion strategies, organizing the liaison team for the business sites, managing cross team integration, performing contingency planning, performing QA, and cutover planning and execution.

Wireless Telecommunications Company (San Francisco, California)

Served as a team lead for Project Costing, Fixed Assets, and Inventory for a company undergoing a shared services implementation of Release 11 Oracle Financials. Managed a team of 20+ resources through the full life cycle implementation.
