Assigned to interim controller positions on a project basis to such companies as: SGL Carbon Group, Hamilton Pacific, Stila Cosmetics, StemCyte, Wastequip Manufacturing, Balboa Water Group, and Catalytic Solutions.

Controller
Responsible for all financial accounting, human resources, IT, taxes, and administration. Analyzed financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirements. Worked with overseas operations with EXIM Bank funding and Letters of Credit. Spearheaded the upgrade of Solomon computer software to improve the costing system.
M&K SOUND CORPORATION ($24 million manufacturer of speakers) 2000 - 2003

Responsible for all accounting, cash management, financial controls, tax analysis, IT, contracts, purchasing, reporting and budgets. Project manager for the implementation of several new software programs such as detailed A/R management, automatic capitalization of software development, and implemented an inventory tracking system for shipping and automated billing. Led the upgrade of MAS90 to MAS200 ERP and developed financial models to measure the cost of new product development. Implemented 401(k) program.
ELIXIR INDUSTRIES ($230 million manufacturer of component parts with 18 divisions) 1994 - 2000
Corporate Controller
Responsible for all divisional accounting, supervision of 3 regional controllers and a staff of 12. Project manager for the implementation of Oracle ERP software which was accomplished on time and under budget. Selected Oracle, searched our company's divisions for the best implementation people, developed a program for Elixir, then finally ran the information out to all 18 divisions. Reported weekly to Project Committee using PowerPoint. Headed a task force to update Elixir Industry's accounting procedures & policy manual. Streamlined the divisional budgeting process and updated cost accounting activity.

Previous work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer for SRECO - Flexible (a $28 million manufacturer), as CFO of Northwest Motor Welding (a $48 million remanufacturer), Manager of International Audits for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and as Senior Auditor for John F. Forbes (which merged with KPMG).
