MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Responsible for successfully opening Fry's Electronics 144,000 square-foot flagship store in San Marcos, CA.
Hired and trained department managers, directed setup of all fixtures, interviewed and hired a staff of 328 and received and stocked $13,000,000 of product in time for major store-opening event.
Increased Sales each year from 78.3 million in 2004 to 93.6 million in 2008. which equated to a 19.54% increase over the 4 years. also increased spread 2 (profit) 3.94 million from 2004 to 2008, a 29.7% increase. Introduced new merchandising procedures leading to increases in sales and gross profit.
As Chief Machinists Mate, was lead instructor in governors, regulators and auxiliary turbines at the Navy's Fleet Training Center. Later at the Afloat Training Group, developed a training course for the Navy's Material Maintenance Management program that instructed the fleet in how to perform the different maintenance scheduling plans that were required on all ships. This "3M" program was in effect fleet-wide for six years.
