Research involved a thorough analysis and study of signaling and switch control, network monitoring and management, Cell level flow control (explicit rate, credit) and queue management, fault tolerance, performance enhancements.Performed research on Internet technology. Research involved real-time study of IP routing on ATM, IP switching, Packet routing and queuing in gigabit networks, and IP signaling (RSVP, Mbone).Conducted research for DOE’s (Dept. Of Energy) Office of Declassification to develop an interactive pattern recognition program.
