Finite Element Analysis – 1-D and 2-D Structures :
The project aims at development of a software tool for the analysis of One dimensional structural member such as beams, trusses and frames 2-D structures using Triangular and Rectangular elements, Torsion, Axis symmetric problems. (Programming language VC++)
Beam Plotter : Development of Software Module to calculate Shear Force and Bending Moment Diagram for general loading on a Simply supported beam. The loading can be a combination ofUniformly Distributed loads(UDL)Linearly Varying Loads (Triangular or Trapezoidal)
(Programming Language VC++ ) KADS : Kit for Analysis and Design of StructuresDevelopment of GUI based software tool for the design of RCC structural members such as beams, slabs and columns etc based on Limit state design as recommended by Indian Standard code of practice IS 456 : 2000 for plain and reinforced concrete. The tool can calculate Moment carrying capacity of a particular section as it is useful for designing members.The main program is developed in C++ while its GUI in VB provides a user friendly environment.

Development of Structural Design : Analysis of Building Frame for Maximum Moment and Shear forces.
