Job duties: Originally owned and operated by my father who sold it
to Champion Publications in 1985 whom subsequently sold it to NC
Publications in 1987. Beginning in circulation I was eventually exposed to
all aspects of the newspaper publishing process until finally focusing on
graphic design and understanding the computer systems which were used for
design and pre-press work. I continued as head of production under all
ownerships. Worked on Compugraphic typesetting systems and learned how to
do minor repairs and chip replacements. Converted office to Mac SE
publishing system in 1987.

systems on spec for clients as well as researching and consulting on their
software and hardware needs. I have created stand-alone applications using
Dbase, developing several retail point-of-purchase and inventory systems.
I have also written simple programs using Basic, QBasic, Visual Basic,
Postscript, VB Script, JScript, JavaScript, JAVA, and HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, and MS Visual Studio.
