RE : Customer Service Training Support Specialist
To: Human Resources 3K Consulting,
I am writing to apply for the position Customer Service Training Support Specialist as advertised on Ziprecruiter.com. Although I have spent the majority of my professional life in education at the secondary, adult and collegiate levels, the description of this job closely matches the duties I have performed for years. I am confident that my education and experience would be an asset at your company.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (United States) in 1994 and a Master of Science degree in Secondary English Education from Alcorn State University (United States) in 2002. I became certified with the Ontario College of Teachers in 2010. I have a Special Education Part 1 additional qualification which I earned in December of 2012. In January of 2013, I’ll earn my Teacher of English as a Second Language-Ontario diploma.
Since 2004 I have worked as a secondary English teacher, English as a Second Language teacher and a college level English professor. My work in the classroom has given me innumerable hours of experience as an expert educator. I’m very adept at breaking down tough-to-grasp concepts and making them easy to understand. Within my classrooms (which, on occasion, have contained groups of over forty people at different academic levels and often speaking different languages) I have engaged students in curriculum-based learning using multi-modal strategies and relevant technology to reach students with different learning styles. In addition, I was awarded Teacher with the Best Personality out of nearly 200 candidates at Morse High School in San Diego, CA. It has always been important to me that information is relayed in a way that makes even the driest academic material interesting and engaging.
I possess excellent interpersonal skills and have worked successfully with colleagues and students with a multitude of personality types. I also possess strong organizing skills, evaluative/analytical skills and the understanding of relevant computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Office.) I am frequently noted for my commanding, attention-grabbing voice that is well suited for the delivery of material orally to large groups of people. My references are excellent and my passion for this type of work is second to none.
I welcome the opportunity to interview with you. I can be reached at 905-***-**** or ***********@*****.***
Thank you for your consideration,
Henry Myers Drake, M.S.
