Sourced and secured a $275 million grant from the Government of Quebec to support CAE’s healthcare, mining and energy growth strategy, conducting a technology due diligence in partnership with KPMGs’ business evaluation to acquire a mining company generating $18 million revenue in year 1.

CAE Professional Services, MANAGER – Capability Development .continuedProvided mining expertise, strategic market analysis and business evaluation for acquisition candidates with an emphasis on performance improvement and management consulting.Superheaded performance improvement systems and services that involved statistical analysis, modelling & simulation and LEAN transformation while gaining familiarity with business intelligence systems in different industries. SENIOR CONSULTANT 2008 – 2009Co-authored an application to secure a $12 million CFI grant to develop an innovative RFID tracking system for Sunnybrook Health Centre and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences to measure micro-movements of patients and staff for research of performance evaluation. Encouraged the clients to create new interventions and policies while maximizing healthcare research and treatment effectiveness.Wrote a persuasive RFP to win a highly competitive $1.2 million contract to develop a simulation-based software system to allow for healthcare decision makers to test their decisions through a simulated regional surge capacity event, measuring communications, volume and priority throughput.Acknowledged for consistently achieving unparalleled innovation and results, increasing profit by 30% in core business while achieving a $10.6 million operating income, exceeding division of income profit

INTERMEDIATE CONSULTANT 2006 – 2008Devised the concept and design analysis for a simulation-based training centre at George Brown Colleges’ School of Emergency Management to evaluate operational and team performance.Built, in partnership with Application Developers, Programmers and other professionals, a simulation application to duplicate authentic disaster and major incident scenarios, dramatically reducing costs.Centre was used not only to evaluate first responders, but also institutions such as Bridgepoint Health, ORNGE,TTC, Toronto Police and others.Awarded NSERC grant to conduct research on team performance using evaluation techniques such as LEAN, Kirkpatrick’s framework, Capability Engineering, DODAF and others. Initiative enticed the National Post to produce a 1 page article that dramatically increased the CAE stock price, delivering significant ROI on the original $1.3MIL funding.
