Participated in the post opening of this 250 rooms property in 2002 located
next to a major shopping mall and a sports arena.
Over10 years direct supervision of 35 employees in full season that
includes Laundry room.
Worked in conjunction with Rooms Manager and GM in the Internship Program
with international students, providing one to one training. This program
was conducted during 4 years, from 2003 thru 2007.
Has participated in several trainings thru the years that include I-clean
with Crowne Plaza and Express Cleaning with the current Management Co.
Winner of Intercontinental yearly award:"Torchbearer" 2007, 2008, 2009.
Undergone a successful change of brand and extensive renovation in 2011.
Concluded all Management Hilton trainings and re-trainings before re-brand
of property.
Personally conducted quarterly deep cleaning projects and service scores
trainings for all Associates.
On going daily communication with all levels to ensure proper handling of
different groups and constant changes on latest visitors and tourist
trends.

Supervision of approximate 45 employees in large 390 rooms/mart and
convention property. Overlooked Convention Center events for some time
before it was handed to outside contractor.
Undergone detail cleaning of large public areas facility that included
restoration of over 4000 square marble tile.

Executive Housekeeper
In charge of all Housekeeping services for an inside airport property with
256 rooms including suites.
Supervise 43 employees.
Some of the accomplishments are:
Trained employees on all OSHA procedures
Re-trained Staff on "Proper Bed making"
Assisted in the implementation of the Incentive program for Room
Attendants.
Implemented a daily weight scale program for all linen in and out of the
property.
In conjunction with the Management Team of the hotel participated every
year in the Summer Internship Program for Dade County Schools working
directly with students assigned to each area.
Participated in all trainings as an Airport facility demands.
1994-1997
Doral Golf Resort & Spa
Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper
Participated in the re-opening of the Hotel under new administration, 647
rooms and 52 large fully equipped European suites.
Assisted Director of Housekeeping in the re-organization and taking over a
large Housekeeping Department with over 100 employees to supervise in full
season and over 60 in low season.
Worked closely with Assistant Executive Housekeepers and Inspectors to
maintain premium standards of cleanliness and productivity levels.
Participated in all aspects of preparations of the large golf tournament
known as" Doral Ryder Open" which was later on changed to other brand
names.
Overlook entire cleaning program for the worldly known Doral Saturn Spa
with 52 european type suites.
Promoted to Executive Housekeeper in the summer of 1996 in charge of all
service including outside cleaning contractors and outside laundry company.

Re-organization and replacement of all uniforms for entire hotel.
Overlook operation of in house dry cleaning operation.
Participated in an extensive renovation of 52 Spa suites and 647 rooms
resort.

Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Controlled and coordinated all Housekeeping services, worked closely with
Inspectors training and re-training Staff to exceed standards of service as
well as cleanliness.
Direct supervision of Laundry operation.
Overlook and supervise a Staff of 72 employees.
Some of the accomplishments are:
Develop and implement a re-training program for the entire Department.
Assist Executive Housekeeper with the up-dating of all Job Descriptions
according to corporate guidelines.
Implemented a training of OSHA procedures and guidelines for all
housekeeping staff.
Worked closely with the night team on both departments: Front office and
Housekeeping to ensure all groups visitor were properly placed and
welcomed.
1987-1991
Miami Marriott Dadeland Hotel
Entry level position, participated in the opening of the Hotel assisting
Executive Housekeeper in the pre-construction cleaning tasks.
Promoted to Housekeeping Manager in 1989.
Responsible for delegating daily work assignments, preparing daily payroll,
inventory controls, counseling staff and direct supervision of Laundry.
Supervise a Staff of 55 employees.
Some of the accomplishments are:
Implementation of Quality Improvement Process in the Dpt.
Upgraded standards of cleanliness in rooms implementing a measurement
system of cleanliness of occupied rooms.
Implemented a highly successful Self Inspector Program for Room Attendants
that was used for a long time.
