EDUCATIONAL Qualifications
Post graduation (M.sc Microbiology,) from Bharathidasan University in 2003
Graduation (B.Sc. Botany, Zoology and chemistry) from Sri Venkateswara
University in 2001.
PROJECT WORK DONE
Entero Pathogen city anti microbial Susceptibility in Escherichia New Spp
at Srivenkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences at Tirupathi.
WORK EXPERIANCE At present working in JCI accredited Apollo Health city as
a Medical Technologist in the department of microbiology since June 2003 to
till date (9 year's 9 months experience)
V Bacteriology: Handling and reporting different clinical specimens for
aerobic and anaerobic bacteriology, identification and anti microbial
susceptibility testing, MIC testing, handling rapid automated system
like API ATB,VITEK2 COMPACT and SIEMENS Walk away systems.
V Mycobacteriology: Scanning clinical specimens for mycobacterium
through staining techniques like ZN and fluorescent stains, culturing
mycobacterium tuberculosis by using conventional and rapid system like
BacT Alert 3D system. Performing antituberculous susceptibility
testing. Handling HAIN system for the the detection and sensitivity of
Mycobacterium complex (MDR-TB)
V Molecular biology: Isolation of DNA and RNA, performing PCR and pulse
field gel electrophoresis.
V Mycology: Detection of fungal elements in direct smears by fluorescent
microscopy, identification and culture of fungus and antifungal
susceptibility by using manual methods and, MIC testing, handling
rapid automated system like API ATB, VITEK2 COMPACT .
V Serology: performing various serological techniques like ELISA,
Agglutination, Precipitation, immunodiffusion and western blotting.
Handling automated systems like biomeriux vitex system Vidas, Abbott's
AXSYM and Architect
V QC maintainance: Maintenance of standard strains. QC of antibiotics,
stains and biochemical tests. Maintenance of LJ curves for Elisa.
V Infection control: Infection control surveillance and training of
health care personnel.
V Worked as a Microbiologist in PATH safe water project.02nd Sep 2010 to
15th June 2011.

Teaching experience: Working as a faculty for B.sc nursing and M.L.T
students in Apollo College of Nursing, JMJ College of Nursing, CARE college
of Nursing since 9 years and also attended as an Examiner on behalf of NTR
University of health sciences to JMJ College of nursing in Hyderabad. And
also guided for M.Sc students in their project works.
