Duties and responsibilities

Managing and providing continuity for a vehicle maintenance parts warehouse which supports the GP shop, MHE shop and TAC shop by ordering parts and working stock items used in the maintenance of all vehicles. All shipments receiving from NEI (Newbegin Ent. Inc.) a military contractor are picked up from the supply warehouse, and bulk items are delivered by the United Stated Air Force P & D shop to Material Control. I unload bulk items received by means of our Bobcat forklift or manually, and turn-in unserviceable equipment to various turn-in points on the base. Additionally I manage the residue parts that come to Material Control from all the shops within our squadron, which makes up 400 items that are reused for future repairs to vehicles in the fleet. Working with me are two United StatesAir Force personnel in the warehouse and one civilian contractor in the office. I have an extensive use of Excel, Word, and the NEI website using United States Air Force computers.

Duties and responsibilities

Worked in the supply room at CJSOTF JBB, Iraq and was responsible for turn-in of equipment and receipt of supplies from the SSA at JBB, Iraq. This included organizing supplies and exchanging equipment at the CIF, and maintaining and organizing Mil-Vans belonging to the supply room. Inventoried unserviceable UAV's and all the components, which included turning in unserviceable vehicles to DRMO for destruction and loading and shoring of four twenty foot Mil-vans for shipment to Lexington, Kentucky. Worked directly with Man Tech Corporation to field 150 MRAP's (RG-33) which included inventorying all components and equipment in the vehicle and flying with them to their final destination and hand receipting them to the individual responsible at the FOB's. Received CJSOFT award certificate and coin from the Chief of Staff for over 60 flights delivering Non-Expendable property within country. Worked in CJSOTF's CRSP yard rigging/de-rigging 463L pallets that were inbound/outbound within theatre, in addition to receiving shipments from DHL, Fed-Ex and UPS, and unloading it with the 5K, 10K or commercial CAT forklift in our warehouse. Inventoried existing and newly fielded property at RPC, Baghdad and processed documents in PBUSE for the support group assets in theater.
