ITT - Redcom IGX Technician in Iraq 2004-2011

* Maintain and operate the IGX Tactical Telecommunication System.

* Adding new hardware, performing software upgrades, and completing scheduled maintenance.

* Submitted status reports, inventory reports, and maintenance status to the U.S. Army.

IP Communications - Director of Project Management 2000-2003

* Managed and operated all aspects of the IP network to include: network expansion, augmentation, and material sparing for the network operations group.

* I was responsible for the collocation group that worked exclusively with SBC on every issue relating to the collocation spaces leased by us. This included all applications, monthly bill reconciliation, access issues, equipment issues, and tariff interpretations / negotiations.

* Previously held position as PM Manager responsible for building IP Communications DSL/Broadband Network. My team successfully built a 4 state, 400+ site network in 8 months, on time and within budget. We managed each step required in these builds, which included: maintained implementation schedules, material databases, approved vendor invoices, and furnished activity reports to management on a daily basis.

Pacer International - Director of Real Estate Services 1998-2000

* Provided complete site acquisition services to Pacer clients by identifying their requirements, performing site audits, making recommendations, and assisting in Landlord RFP responses and lease negotiations.

MCI - Manager of Program Management 1992-1998

* Managed group of PM`s for the installation of new COs (Central Offices) for MCI`s Local Service Division.

Planning Research Corporation (PRC) - Senior Systems Engineer 1990-1992

* Tasked on U.S. Government (GSA ASP) analysis projects to perform a technical evaluation of EPABX bids for the replacement of existing Centrex systems.

Marriott Corporation - Senior Telecommunications Analyst 1978-1990

* Responsible for specific telecommunications designs of EPABX systems to be installed in both the domestic and international hotels. The telephone systems had to be complete and running prior to the hotels opening, with no delays. Most of the hotels had bookings two years in advance of opening so there could be no construction slippage. Of 35+ hotels worked on personally, not one was delayed due to a communications issue.

* Designed the system based on basic criteria, issued RFPs that were based on this design, analyzed the responses and awarded the contract.
