Introductions
To any position of responsibility in communications and multimedia I
bring a broad range of skills, real world experience, and practical
expertise. I have a total of 15 years in graphic and typographic design,
advertising agency work, and print, over 10 of those years in supervisory
and managerial positions. I also have 5+ years experience now in website
and rich media (video, audio, Flash) development on the Internet. I
have a strong combination of creative design, project management, and
new technology experience that can serve to increase and enhance your
company's image, production capacity, and the quality of your services,
while also reducing operational costs substantially.
Software
Skills I also have many years of hands-on experience in video editing
and production (traditional and digital). My rich media software skills
include QuarkXPress on the print side and the Adobe suite of multimedia
design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere. I am cross-platform,
with a Mac bias.
People
Skills I have directed and managed major design projects in all
aspects - planning, staffing, managing, team building, problem solving,
and implementation. I have worked both alone and in collaboration and
have excelled in both situations. I have also been in positions where
I have been able to strongly mentor, instruct, plan, and develop and
manage project teams and staff members. I'm proud to have a long list
of personal and professional references who will describe me as industrious,
efficient, creative in problem solving and project management, an extremely
fast learner, an excellent communicator, and a responsible, ethical
professional.
