Research Experience

Video Denoising

Proposed to denoising video signal using Multiple-View Fusion scheme and significant improvement

was observed compared with the state-of-the-art approaches.

Video Quality Assessment (VQA)

Proposed general-purpose reduced-reference Video Quality Assessment based on Temporal Motion

Smoothness by Local Phase Correlations.

Image Quality Assessment (IQA)

Developed Reduced-reference IQA using Multi-scale Geometric Analysis and No-reference IQA based

on the statistical model in Contourlet domain

Lossless Medical Image Coding

Based on second generation wavelet, compress the medical images without quality degradation and

implement the codec in C language.
