Cash Sales System:
As a team leader of the architecture committee, I designed system to manage FRIs complex
cash sales system. This system utilized Windows and was using PowerBuilder 4.0 and
Erwin/Erx for modeling. As a key member of the Client/Server team, assisted in the
development and deployment of sales system application standards and procedures, which
ensured optimum use of current and future architecture. Acted as the principal bridge
builder between operations and technical worlds to make human/technical system truly work
for the end-user. I have experience with extremely large distributed databases in both
relational and hierarchical databases. Was also responsible for the architecture of all
core databases. Actively led the development and administration of annual operating budget
approx. $6 million in expense and capital. Was responsible for strategic planning of
annual operating plans and long-term goals. I adopted a department wide process to
determine product standards and managed the life cycle of those technologies used within
FRI resulting in limiting the variety of products with similar capabilities, thus reducing
overall costs.
