Responsible for all DBA activities for various DBMS

systems. Support, installation and maintenance for DB2/UDB,

Oracle, Sybase, Informix for various servers (HP, DEC

Alpha, Sun Solaris, NCR, Unisys, RS/6000, etc.). Developed

recovery methodology for the different databases for the

various platforms. Also set up procedures for performance

monitoring and tuning.

Developed software for loading Data Warehouse on Target

platforms (MVS, various Unix systems, AIX and NT) for

Oracle, DB2, DB2/UDB, MS SQLServer, Sybase, and Informix,

utilizing ODBC and native loaders.

Architected, designed and coded Changed Data Capture

facility in DB2 and IMS for the Prism Warehouse Manager.

System consists of the Assembler routines that read and

transform data from DB2 and IMS archive logs for the

subsequent input into the Prism Warehouse Manager (PWM).

User interface for these systems was written in COBOL II,

REXX and ISP Panels. DB2 and IMS CDC products are currently

implemented in multiple customer sites in US, Canada and

Europe.

Developed the architecture for PSM (Prism Scheduling

Manager).

Designed and wrote the MVS part of PSM which interfaces

with CA-7 and is written in Assembler and Cobol II and

various shell scripts and C programs for the Unix

environment. Developed POSQL, the proprietary scheduling

language for CA-7 interface. The product schedules jobs and

transports data between Unix and MVS environments.
