-Estimate at Completion - entails converting email messages into XML code for easy import to a SQL database. Routine had elaborate error checking to account for unexpected replies. Cost savings 500K/yr.
-Groups -eRoom entails converting employee numbers into Canonical Lotus Notes names and creating and updating Lotus Notes groups, for email, Sametime and access control. Cost savings exceeds 200k/yr.
-Work Authorization Requests process flow database in Lotus Notes for Manufacturing Site to track value added and comments in signature loop using automatic routing list. Cost Savings exceeded 1 M / year overall.
-Make/Buy/Change Order process flow database in Lotus Notes for Manufacturing Site allowing parts to recognized more efficiently, scheduled for assembly and have notices forwarded electronically. Cost Savings exceeded 300 K in the first year.
-Six Sigma Expert Database process flow database for Corporate to track Employees taking Advanced Six Sigma training for the purpose of helping them complete requirements faster. Cost Savings exceeded 150 K in the first year.
-Environmental Health and Safety - several web-enabled databases merged together to form a monthly report to the stockholders showing Short Term Disability, safety initiatives, ergonomics and education. Cost savings 1 M per year.
-Employee Recognition where peers can acknowledge other employee`s or teams for superior work and effort over the previous year on web-enabled form. Parties are held to celebrate the achievements.
-Six Sigma Feedback where employees can write questions, give praise, or complain about various Raytheon Six Sigma classes and get feedback from a specialist in that area.
-Policies and Procedures for maintaining a web-based written record for of how to accomplish tasks. Provides easy search method to locate records, and to comply with government audits.
