Qualifications

I have performed a broad range of GATE duties and assignments. Standard receiving assignments, verified shipments by checking shipping documents, matched specific item identification by name, transportation control number, letters, transportation account code (TAC), quality and/or shipment, unload incoming shipments, scanned bar codes, and key receipt information into automated record system, grouping items together based on receiving voucher information and segregated items according to such factors as condition and destination. I have built pallet loads to facilitate shipment, reporting tampered or broken seals on containers or damaged or deteriorating shipments to supervisor, transporting materials from receiving area to storage. I have operated forklift trucks and automated material handling and identifying equipment to include 4k, 10k, warehouse tugs, warehouse sweeper, materials system elevator transfer and rollers, and maneuver forklifts in confined spaces over wood, concrete or similar type floors.
