where I can effectively utilize my skills and experience in Digital
Signal Processing and Digital Communication.
QUALIFIED BY Possess 3 years industry experience in the
Telecommunication R&D environment working as a Reliability Engineer on
wireless system and then as an Hardware Designer on desktop wireless
telephone. I have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with
specialization in Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communication.
My skills also include the ability to work alone or in a team, work
under pressure, very analytical and persevering. I am fully bilingual

WORK EXPERIENCE
Nortel
(Northern Telecom) Hardware Designer1995-1997 Design and
verification of the voice-frequency section of a desktop wireless
telephone to be operated in both TDMA and AMPS modes in the 400 MHz
band. Results of activities included: - characterization of the SLIC
(from AMD) - characterization and resolution of design issues of the
RJ-11 circuit - characterization and resolution of design issues of
the handset circuit - wrote and implemented the test plan that was
used to test the analog section of the system against the product
specifications. All activities were completed on time according to the
schedule.
Nortel
(Northern Telecom) Reliability Engineer1994-1995 Design of
system reliability metrics and verification of low power wireless
protocol standards including CT2, CT2 Plus, Etiquette (PCS 1900).
Results of activities included: - implemented successfully a system
verification automation using C and QA Partner. - wrote and executed a
system verification test plans for low power wireless systems. -
project leader on PCS 1900 system: I was the activities coordinator.
All activities were completed successfully on time according to the
schedule.
University of Ottawa
Teaching and Research Assistant1990-1994 Thesis
work based on tree structure filterbank for wideband signal
processing: - explored ways of designing linear phase infinite impulse
response (IIR) filters - studied different prototypes of half band
lowpass filter to be used in a tree structure filterbank -
implementation of parallel filter bank using Hadamard matrix.
Undergraduate students supervisor and teaching assistant. Wrote
complete course notes in Circuit Theory for second year students that
has been used by a professor to teach until he retired.
Submitted a patent for a cellular system waiting for filing.
