Working as a Software Test Engineer at Ultraprise Corporation on
several Products including Trading System, Bulk, Community, Flow, and
Membership Registry. Trading System is a Web-Based application for the
Secondary Mortgage Industry. The main functionality of the application
is the members will post the loans pools to the site as a seller.
The buyer's will makes the bids on the pools. A loan pool will have
multiple numbers of loans. A Buyer can accept/decline the loans
manually or by using the criteria. Once a bid has been placed on a
pool, the seller will get the email notification and the seller can
accept, counter or reject a bid. As a Buyer he can down load the pool
into a spreadsheet, can evaluate the loans offline.
Responsibilities:
Evaluated application features and prepared several test plans and
test cases. Executed and analyzed tests using SILK.
Investigated software bugs and interacted with developers to resolve
technical issues using Defect Tacking system PVCS Tracker.
Performed extensive SQL Queries to compare the database and periodic
reports generated by the application for various levels of management
for deception and control purposes.
Responsible for weekly status updates showing the progress of the
automation/manual testing effort and open issues to be resolved.
