- PRESENT - Developed fully functional process prototype for a

completely new tool management process. - Placed in the role of

project leader with the responsibility for both the development and

implementation of the full-scale version of the prototype tool

management system. - Defined, and currently identifying resources for

a CASE-based client-server development team which will support the

development of the above mentioned production tool management system

as well as any future CASE developed, client-server based, process

re-engineering projects. - Participant on a process improvement team

responsible for re-engineering the way information is disclosed

throughout the business unit.

Engineering Prototype Software Developer, Product Engineering Dept.JAN 1995

- DEC 1996 - Responsible for the development of several

engineering process improvement prototype applications. All prototypes

were user directed with very little management intervention. -

Prototyped a Data Warehouse linking various aspects of engineering and

manufacturing from both a data and process standpoint. The

demonstrated time savings and quality improvement potential helped

lead to a full-scale, company-wide data warehousing initiative. -

Developed an intelligent AutoCAD processing system utilizing a new

internal drafting standard to produce automated bills-of-material,

continuity maps, and exception reports. - Developed and implemented an

electrical component expert system for use by the entire UTA

engineering community. - Prototyped a graphical interrogation system

which interprets CAD plot files, producing

continuity maps and relative component positions which are currently

unavailable electronically from within the native CAD application.

Knowledge Based Software Engineer, KBE Development GroupMAY 1993 -

DEC 1994

- Responsible for the implementation of a KBE (Knowledge Based

Engineering) manufacturing application which included the automated

layout of manufacturing jig overlays from 3D Engineering CAD drawings.

- Coordinated development efforts between the KBE Lab and faculty from

the University of Michigan. - Researched, tested, and recommended

additional software packages which enhanced the overall KBE

development and implementation process.

research and development of an improved automated machine tool with

the goal of a 50% cycle time reduction.

suggest alternatives to wire harness designs for a six axis robotic

wire harness manufacturing system.
