vision, direction, processes, procedures and quality testing for providing baseline
performance benchmark numbers. I developed, deployed and administered PeopleSoft's
Performance Benchmarks called the Performance ToolKit (PTK) to Partners such as IBM, Sun,
Sequent, HP, Oracle, Informix, Sybase and Microsoft for high scalability and sizing
benchmarks on PeopleSoft applications such as HR Online, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor,
AR, AM, AP, and GL.
Developed the Performance Benchmark Partnership with our Hardware and Software partners
negotiating reciprocal product exchanges. Developed and administered complex technical
training plans on PeopleSoft 3-tier client/server architecture, configuration and
benchmarking practices. Developed the porting process of the benchmark components from
Oracle to Informix, DB2, MS SQL Server and Sybase.
Managed the Hardware and Software acquisitions for the department and managed the
departmental budget and resources.
Developed strategic plans to further deploy the PTK as a product to the customer and
partner base. Developed the certification program for Performance ToolKit Certified
Engineers and PeopleSoft AdvantageServer where partners provide sizing for middle market
and deliver pre-installed/pre-packaged software/hardware solutions.
Using Lotus Notes and Domino migrated PTK administration and information to the WEB for
partner self-service access. Defined automated workflow processes in Lotus Notes to
alleviate repetitive work for engineers. Following a reorg, developed project plans, new
processes and procedures and prioritized benchmarks for the DB2/OS390 PeopleSoft database
platform.
Managed the IBM relationship including processes to improve performance and resolve
technical issues on DB2/OS390 and co-sponsored high water benchmarks with IBM. Managed a
group of Benchmarking Engineers who conducted tuning activities to drive performance
enhancements back into the product, and provide platform technical expertise to sales and
customers on large-scale implementations on DB2/OS390 and Oracle.

Defined, built and conducted performance benchmarks to test application scalability that
