allowed Operators to maintain information about the network nodes and

objects.

The system stored all the data polled by the hierarchical network

devices for

each individual POP owned by a Telecom company. Also developed PL/SQL

packages for daily data manipulation and reporting. These packages

were

invoked by Java Applets and displayed the output in HTML format.

Developed

scripts for data mapping and cleanup of historical data to form

Normalized

hierarchical structures.

Developed an automated code generation module using PL/SQL. This

allowed the

DBA's to add new data manipulation packages for new object with

assistance

from the developer. Developed a Java install class so that the

packages would

be created for the system as part of the system install. Involved in

configuring

PERL Oracle DBI/DBD and SAS programs for the collection of network
