Since 2006 as Co-director, I share the responsibility for the day to day operations of the entire location. I supervise up to eighty five team members. My primary duty is to manage the fresh departments. The fresh departments include Deli,Bakery,Produce,Meat and seafood. I inspect and oversee food prep,food storage and inventory control. Additionally I assist the department heads in making accurate orders for supplies and fresh and frozen food products. I maintain a Food Safety Manager certification. Some of my secondary responsibilities include ordering and merchandising for the grocery and center store departments. I have experience reviewing and analyzing P&L statements. I find areas that need improvement and make the necessary changes to maximize profit. I write and coordinate the weekly schedule for all departments. As Co-Director I have daily contact with peers and managers by email and phone. Part of my job requires the completion of reports and audits that are submitted to supervisors. Other responsibilities include maintaining files and records for inspection by supervisors and state inspectors. I conduct staff meetings and record meeting minutes. Some of my other duties include counting the safe and cash management including preparing deposits. I review budgets and reports to ensure strict adherence to set guidelines. I have experience dealing with vendors and suppliers. I deal with customers on a daily basis and provide excellent customer service. Part of my job includes completing team member evaluations and counseling team members for poor behavior. I interview and hire new team members. On occasion I have terminated team members for poor performance that has not been corrected in a timely manner.

I worked the front desk and answered the multi line phone. I made reservations and accepted payment from guest. Part or my job was to reconcile and transmit the credit card batches to ensure the hotel got paid. Also I set up the breakfast bar in the mornings. I gathered invoices and printed checks off the computer. In addition I would finalize and process payroll for all employees. i filled in for maintenance whenever that position was vacant. Those duties included, basic plumbing duties and general maintenance.
