Title: Necropsy technician (July 2006 - Present)

Responsibilities: Coordinate necropsy activities with client facility representatives. Ensure work is completed on time and that it meets quality standards. Insure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP's) and that all work is performed in compliance with FDA and DPA Good Laboratory Practice regulations. Assure that team members are adequately trained to perform their assigned tasks and that adequate supplies are available. Perform other duties as assigned.

Title: Histologist (July 2006 - Present)

Responsibilities: Perform routine histological procedures including trimming, processing, embedding, sectioning, routine and special staining. Processing of un-decalcified hard tissue samples using the Exakt system. Perform Quality control review of the stained micro-slides and study paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities: Ensure work is completed on time and that it meets quality standards. Insure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP's) and that all work is performed in compliance with FDA and DPA Good Laboratory Practice regulations. Assure that team members are adequately trained to perform their assigned tasks and that adequate supplies are available. Maintain production records and prepare periodic reports as required. Ensure a safe working environment. Assign personnel to necropsy duty and maintain the schedule. Assist with travel arrangement. Coordinate necropsy activities with client facility representatives. Review necropsy-costing assumptions. Prepare forms used for necropsy (tray templates and IANR's).

Title: Reproductive Technician, Special Toxicology/Teratology Contract Service Division, Frederick, MD. (2000 to 2002)

Responsibilities: Performs all technical aspects related to sperm sample collection for analysis by the Hamilton Thorne IVOS. Analysis procedures include motility, velocity and total count. Reviews recorded sperm images and produces data outputs. Prepares and evaluates sperm morphology slides.

Title: Senior Histo-Technician, Frederick, MD (1995-2000)

Responsibilities: Responsible for preparation of tissues for histo-logic processing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Laboratory Practice regulations. Tissues originate from chronic and pre-chronic toxicity studies conducted by federal (National Institutes of Health, National Toxicology Program, etc.) and private industrial and pharmaceutical clients. Specific duties include tissue trimming, tissue processing, embedding, special staining and microtomy. As a member of the PAI mobile necropsy team, provides necropsy coordination and set-up, pro-section support for small and large animal studies (including primates), and PCR necropsy for both commercial and government clients. This includes complete examination with full tissue harvest, organ weighing, and lesion identification and description using standard nomenclature. Trained in intravascular perfusion in rodents (rat/mice), dogs and primates and experienced in teratology micro-dissection. Also performs quality control involving microscopic preview of tissue slides for identification, quality assessment and inventory prior to release to the pathologist for microscopic evaluation.

Pathology Associates Division of Charles River Laboratories, Inc. (PAI):

Title: Archive Technician, Frederick, MD (1994-1995)

Responsibilities: Inventory shipments on receipt; prepare QC Sheets/Histology Processing Records. Prepare wet tissue bag labels; bag tissues; block sealing, organizing slides in drawers. Data entry on Archive computer database; assist with wet tissue reviews. Prepare NTP shipments; prepare studies for return shipment. Maintain supply inventories; delegate responsibility and supervise Jr. Archive Technician.
