GOVERNMENT ACCOUNT SERVICE ASSOCIATE

PHH Arval: 10/97-12/08

Act as a liaison to government procurement personnel, its legal department, accounts payable department and other government agencies heads.

Oversee that the terms of the government contracts are carried out by PHH and that each government entity fulfills the terms of that contract by: RFP'S, Purchase orders and Modifications.

As the Government Account Service Associate I must efficiently and effectively manage a portfolio of government and commercial client accounts to meet or exceed the collection performance standards.

LOAN OFFICER: 1996-1997. CREDITRUST. BALTIMORE, MD

ASST. LOAN/MGR: 1994-1996, NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF BALTIMORE

Implemented as well as managed NHS closing cost loan program (CCLP), including responsibility for the marketing of that program, recruitment of lending partners, analysis of first mortgages underwriting, underwriting of second mortgages and unsecured mortgages.

Organized delinquency policies entailing working with the organizations loan servicing partners and preparation of detailed reports for NHS board of directors. Represented NHS of Baltimore at mortgage loan closing, bankruptcies, foreclosure proceedings and auctions.

GEN/MGR: 1991-1994. TODAY'S RENTAL

Instituted internal systems of credit and collection control to facilitate the handling of small and large orders of merchandise.

Created and implemented internal operations procedures at multi-store locations, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the clerical and sales staff.

Responsibilities also included: store audits, stock, merchandising and setting of store goals. Performed personnel duties including training and evaluations, payroll records, hiring and terminations, I also processed credit applications and account collections.

MGING/DIR: 1985-1991. EQUIFAX. CBI. INC. /CREDIT BUREAU REPORTS, INC.

CBI & CBR, two separate credit bureau companies, where I furnished administrative and management support for numerous government and corporate contracts.

Planned, designed and implemented computerized systems for various data processing operations. Managed a technical support staff responsible for application processing.

My strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with government and industry helped to make it possible to market services to the business community and private organizations. Services rendered such as: direct mail and credit card approvals for banks, credit card companies and major oil companies. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: multi-office locations, handling of government contracts for the office of personnel management and the department of defense, with a security clearance of GS12. I have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

BR/MGR: 1979-1985. ITT. THORP CREDIT. INC.

Managed and supervised entry level and mid-level personnel at multi-office locations. Initiated use of new procedures as follows: organized new office layout for a more effective operation, managed the processing of more than 2300 accounts, responsible for developing an in house training program.

Initiated and supervised the processing of first, second and commercial mortgage lending, with an average closing rate of six to eight per day.

Gathered credit information, compiled statistics, and worked with other outside agencies to insure prompt closing. supervised the disposition of collections of legal accounts, bankruptcies, foreclosures and the sale of such properties, charge off, and zero to one hundred and eighty days past due accounts. Set up commercial and sales finance accounts.
