Code Development stage. Assist with preliminary testing of these modules

before being released to production. Majority of programs written in

COBOL on a VAX Alpha platform. Some in-house work has been done using VAX

C.

They were written in Borland's Paradox for Dos against a Paradox forDos

Database. Part of my day to day duties were to act as the sole application

support person for this department's software.

* Software Developer - Developed application to allow Quality

Department to track and record problems in my companies product

certification process. This application is used quite extensively,and is

written in object pascal utilizing Borland's client server Delphi product

against a Oracle database.

CDH Informatics, Inc./AGRA

- Rock Hill, SC - June 1993 to May 1995

Software Developer

- Developed a real-time data collection application for

plant inventory at the Hoechst Celanese Fibers plant in Rock Hill, SC. Two (2)

separate applications were developed on a Digital Equipment VAX 3100/VMS for the

initial and final network connections with Symbol Technologies bar code reading

equipment. The bar code reading equipment was upgraded to the final

configuration to improve system efficiency and accommodate additional handheld

wireless bar code readers. The initial application was developed in VAX C

language. The final application was developed in both VAX C and Transaction

Data (TDL) languages.

* Software Developer - Developed a database application within Microsoft

Access which provides a data entry format for use with a new plant production

application (SAP). The database application within Microsoft Access was

developed on a standalone 486 personal computer at CDH Informatics for laptop

operation at multiple client sites. Input data for the database application is

transferred manually from an existing plant production application (LEGACY) at

each client site.

* ABAP/4 Programmer Trainee - Reviewed technical documentation andprovided

programming assistance for Systems Applications & Products (SAP) applications at

various client sites. SAP is a plant production application which hasvarious

business features for plant operations, order processing, accounting, and

production.

Porta Systems/Miror Telephony Software, Inc

. - Charlotte, NC - May 1987 to April

1993

Lead Programmer

for ACCESS NETWORK DESIGN (ACNET), Release 1.0 -

Developed the Porta Systems ACNET product application which is an engineering

planning tool for the construction of outside telephone cable plant facilities.

The application was initially developed on a Texas Instruments 990/DNOS system

for current telephone operating company and engineering firm users. The

application was ported to and upgraded on a Digital Equipment VAX 3600/VMS

system for future product support and development with other Porta Systems

product applications. The ACNET application was developed using both VAX COBOL

and VAX C languages.

* Lead Programmer for APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API), Release 1.0 -

Developed the Porta Systems API product application which provides a

standardized programming interface for independent applications to interface

with the Porta Systems ACCESS NETWORK PROCESSOR (ANP) product database. The

application utilizes a command parser and command interpreter for fetching input

data and interprocess communications for transferring data between applications.

The application was developed on a Digital Equipment VAX 3600/VMS system and

written in both VAX C and VAX COBOL languages.
