Work Experience: I have experience in offshore drilling and production for a total of 30yrs. When I worked in drilling I was a roustabout and a crane operator. In this job role I was responsible for the loading and unloading of boats and also the general maintenance of the rig. I have been a I&E Tech. for 24yrs and a compliance advisor 5yrs of the 30yrs. I learned my skill at ODECO Oil & Gas \ Murphy Oil. I was a contract instrument tech.\ production operator for Shell Oil for 10yrs. I worked as a I&E Tech. for 5 1\2 yrs on the Shell Auger TLP. There I worked with numerous types of 4 to 20ma (Rosemount, Taylor, Fisher, K-Tek, Westlock, Halliburton, Haskel, Bettis, WKM, BWB, General Monitor Gas Detector,Sieger Flame Detectors, Spectrex SharpEye Triple IR Flame Detectors, Spectrex Open Path Gas Detectors, transmitters, level controllers, gas detectors, valves, pumps, and meters etc). Working as a I&E Tech for ODECO / Murphy and Shell, I was responsible for the testing, repairing, troubleshooting, installation, of all the spoken devices. I was also responsible for all the MMS testing, paperwork, and MMS visits. I have used DCS computers for subsea and platform operations. I was also a member of the Regulatory Compliance Committee, Diversity Team, and Fire Team on Shell Auger TLP. I have experience in pneumatic devices also pressure sensors, level sensors, valves, and pumps etc... I have experience working with Oceaneering HPU'S, Ruleco, BWB, T.E.S.T. etc. pneumatic and low voltage panels. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and testing of the equipment listed above. I would also be helpful in the production operations of the facility. I was an operator for Shell on the shelf and deep water. For 5yrs I was a compliance advisor. 2yrs for Wood Group Production Services in the Gulf of Mexico. In this position I was responsible for doing pre-MMS inspections and making sure that the operators were keeping the platform in compliance with the MMS rules and regulations. For 3yrs self employed contracted to Chevron Oil Co. working in Angola Africa. At Chevron I was responsible for implementing a compliance team to do the compliance in accordance with API 14C. For the last year I worked for DEFT Limitada as a I&E Tech contracted to SONANGOL in Angola Africa. Here again I was responsible for the maintenance, testing, installation, and repairs of pneumatic and low voltage instrumentation.
