techniques necessary for the installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance

(Direct Support) of the Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminal (SMART-T). Conduct training on communications principles, basic communications networking, satellite characteristics, common satellite terminal components, principles of satellite communication and TMDE. Instruction includes two weeks of self-paced Computer Based Training (CBT) and practical application exercises. Maintain records of student grades, attendance, delinquencies, and remarks concerning attitude, and professional development.

Jun 09 – Mar 10 Capstone Validation Assistant

Supported all training exercise functions of Capstone Operations including Military Occupational Skills (MOS) validation. Provide instructor training to students on a daily basis teaching the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary for the installation, operation, adjustment, alignment, and operator maintenance of communications-electronics equipment. Present and manage student training in group, self-paced, and individual training in class room environments. Conduct conferences, demonstrations, laboratory instruction, practical exercises, testing and student critiques within courses of instruction. Set up and use a wide variety of training aids and media in the conduct of training. Assisted in rewriting the POI/Lesson Plan and test procedures for the TACSAT course. management of telecommunications equipment. Analyzed telecommunications

requirements and recommended equipment and systems configurations. Prepared

of the Maneuver Control Systems (MCS) Workstation. Present and manage student

training in group, self-paced, and individual training in class room environments.

matter areas within courses of instruction. Set up and use a wide variety of training

aids and media in the conduct of training. Curriculums consist of configuration,

operation, and maintenance of the MCS utilizing a notebook or desktop computer.

U.S. Army, 17th Signal Battalion, Kitzingen, Germany

Planned, coordinated, and supervised the installation, operation, maintenance, and management of Mobile Subscriber Telecommunications systems and networks, to

include radio, switching, cable, and automation equipment. Systems consisted of four AN/TRC-190 (V3) Multi Channel Radio Terminals, one AN/TRC-191A (V1) Radio Access Unit, one AN/TTC-47 Switching Terminal and one AN/TSC-85D Satellite Communications Terminal. Supervised the installation, operation and maintenance of COMSEC devices including the AN/CYZ-10, KYK-13 and KOI-18. Provided subordinates technical assistance in resolving connectivity problems and complex maintenance faults on multichannel line-of-site and tropospheric scatter communications systems.
