Corporate Trainer
After supporting my local restaurant in Houston as an in store trainer, I was promoted to the position of corporate trainer, opening over 40 restaurants domestic and internationally. This role required constant travel and schedule organization. I worked in all FOH capacities in this role, including quick promotion to Service Leader. Responsible for the training and development of up to 80 FOH team members. This included facilitating classrooms, hands on training, follow-up training, and the development of new in-store trainers. As a service leader I was a liaison between a team of 20 corporate trainers, franchisees, management, area directors and corporate level executives, including being the lead in organization and execution of meetings amongst all of the above. Along with the training aspect, my administrative responsibilities in this role are extensive. I was responsible for the coordination of trainer travel scheduling, schedule making, labor management, and the facilitation of training classrooms. I was also in charge of helping to create and develop training materials, particularly in foreign/overseas markets, much of which is dependent upon computer skills. Because of this role, I am excellent at being adaptable to different and unpredictable situations. I am very comfortable communicating with every level of expertise, from bussers to executives.
