OBJECTIVE: After serving 12 years in the US Army, I am interested in continuing to offer my services to the public and private emergency management community in areas of training & education, exercise design and operations management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Over 6 years experience with Weapons of Mass Destruction response and patient decontamination.
Over 4 years experience as a highly skilled Leader and First responder to HAZMAT incidents.
Received over 662 hours of leadership training and 456 hours of Chemical and Biological training.
Possess a Secret security clearance.
HAZMAT TEAM LEADER
Supervised and trained 30 personnel to perform duties as a rapid response chemical and biological patient decontamination team.
Planned, coordinated and conducted monthly and quarterly training.
Conducted actual deployment exercises in support of local, state, and federal agencies.
Coordinated air and ground transportation for deployments.
Maintained continuity of operations, training, readiness, organizations support requirements and guidelines for test purposes.
Developed detailed Standing Operating Procedures outlining operations to include recall, deployment, and actions on-site.
