Senior Visual Information Specialist & Web Manager, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) 1997-Aug. 12, 2011

Conceptualize, develop, design, and deliver all manner of visual information in support of program operations and events. Provide in-depth expertise in appropriately leveraging multimedia, print, online, video, exhibit, and presentation mediums to effectively communicate the Army's message, both internally and externally. Collaborate closely with internal clients at all organizational levels to identify and align visual information projects with communications needs.

In 2010, took on additional accountability for managing the USAEC Web site, employing advanced skills in Adobe Dreamweaver, WS_FTP LE, SSH, and Tortoise SVN for such major online projects as coding a quarterly publication for online browsing as well as start-to-finish page design and coding for key event publicity.

Dramatically streamlined department operations by implementing a Cumulus database system for archiving and improving tracking and accessibility of visual information data, including the creation of an extensive photo library.

Managed the department's technology assets, staying up to date on emerging software and technical solutions to identify appropriate upgrades and system enhancements.

Consistently honored for outstanding performance with multiple awards from Log.Sec Corporation.

Project highlights include:

Design of the widely circulated 2010 and 2009 Army Earth Day posters and corresponding Earth Day multimedia campaigns involving exhibits, print material, and CD designs.

End-to-end design and production of a suite of print material for the Federal Women s Program (FWP) 19th Annual Training Program in 2009.

Numerous FWP posters, multimedia programs, and certificates in close collaboration with high-level USAEC and RDECOM officials.

Made significant contributions to the team s win of a prestigious MarCom Award Honoring Excellence in Marketing & Communications for a USAEC Underground Tactics Web animation project.

Achieved an Award of Excellence in the Web site category from The Communicator for the USAEC site.
