Resume:

Babysitting Low income (Orleans,Eastham,Wellfleet,Truro,Ptown)

Date: 2012-11-10, 12:24PM **************@*****.***

Hey,

My name is Casey Mae, I'm a girl whose trying to help out people like my mum and sister.

I know its tough now a days for people with kids to work and find babysitters if they don't have family to do it for free. Especially at a low income job, with one or even two working class heros in the family it doesn't much matter, its still hard to make ends meet. Instead of going out and working for the 1% of them who can afford to pay 10$ an hour, I'd like to offer you my babysitting skills at something that's actually doable. Hopefully helping people who need to work more, get a second job, or just work the job they have now.

Money

My rate at 20$ for the first 3 hours no matter what (if you come home 20 minutes after you leave, or 2 hours and 40 minutes it'll still be 20$)

After that though i charge $5.00 an hour with 1$ for every extra kid (2 kids is 6$, 3 kids is 7$)

EXAMPLE- So lets say I watched your kid for 4 hours it would be 25$.

I'm also willing to negotiate. If you get me on a set schedule and need me a couple times a week while you work I wouldn't make you pay me 1/2 the money you made at work, it wouldn't be practical for you. I'd work off of how much money you made, and then I'd decide how much money I'd charge you. I don't think it's right to take 5$ if your a single parent and only make 10$ an hour. I'd most likely charge you that if there are two of you working, if your a single parent though I'd just give you an overall "30$ a night, no matter how long your gone" or something like that, varying on the situation, ya know?. I'm very easy and flexible and I have a big heart for this kinda stuff. I'd love to help families who can't afford high end babysitters who charge 10$ an hour, cant bring their kids to work, but need to work all the same, usually full time, not just during school hours.

Experience

I babysit for my mum, watching my little 5 year old autistic brother once a week, and once a week I babysit my 2 nieces, 2 years and 4 years. I've been babysitting since I was 13, and now I'm 17 years old and a month away from being 18. I've watched babies as little as 5 months old, and kids as big as 10 years old. I'm very patient, & I like to talk to kids and try to work things out before putting them in a time out for being "bad", cause usually its just communication. I believe that when you yell at a kid they cant hear you because they're too scared to listen, but if you talk to them, even get down to their level, and whisper to them, they're much more likely to listen to you. I've dealt with bad kids, good kids, dramatic kids, special needs kids. I can handle almost every situation. My brother when I was younger choked on me when he was just a baby, and I was just 14 years old & it was the most terrifying moment Ive ever had. It showed me though that I can stay calm and handle something like that, and figure out what to do. Flipping him on his stomach, patted him on the back while I stuck my finger down his throat to make him puke. It worked quickly, and I wouldn't put him down afterward because I was in shock, and still scared. Keeping calm though is the most important thing, not to freeze, and that day I didn't. That a little weird to put on here but I thought it was a important experience to show you.

You can email me whenever to get my schedule, I do night school so I can travel the world as soon as I graduate, leaving most of my days open & I only work a small job part time. My schedule is very open and very flexible. If you need me certain days you can send me your schedule, and how much you make so I can send you an offer on how much I'd charge you.

I hope this helps some people out there
