WORK WANTED (cedar rapids)

I am a 19 year old male searching for anything and everything. I moved to Cedar Rapids a few weeks ago and I am still applying for other places, but so far I havent had any luck. I have experience with phone sales, chain based restaurants, steel manufacturing plant, and I also worked for my stepfather in Guttenberg, Iowa. We mainly did electrical/lighting work for that is his expertise and profession but we also did carpentry, heating, cooling, farm work including disassembling, moving, and reassembling grain bins through out the area. A lot of the work was grunt work but it was also considered an under the table apprenticeship, I was considering becoming fulltime on any of the type of work we did. So what I'm saying is I would prefer a hands on job, actual labor. I'm not afriad of heights so roofwork is also acceptable. I have reliable transportation and I am willing to travel a maximum of around an hour, it all depends on payrate. I don't have any tools of the sort in my posession right now but if I were to acquire a job like this I have no problem with buying tools with my first few paychecks and so on, it would be a slow process for I do have bills to pay...that being the main reason why I need work but thats a given. I'm very easy to get along with and I always listen to orders. At any job I have I make sure that I am ALWAYS doing something, even if I'm finished with my assignment/chore and the boss/supervisor is busy...I will clean up my work area and make everything look neat and tidy. I keep an open mind when it comes to job opportunites though so I am not limiting the work I want to just construction based work, I will take ANYTHING.
