Internationally experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer with a diverse background in 2-stroke outboard engines, printing press design and manufacturing, and application of diesel engines for gensets. Some highlights include:

* 17 years Research and Development experience in 2-stroke engines designing diecast aluminum, stamped metal, molded plastic, and welded parts.

* 9 years of experience with diesel engines running at single speeds to meet ISO-110 Standards.

* 5 years Design Engineering experience designing and building custom order platen presses and accessories such as foil control systems, operator control stations, and guarding systems.

* Experience in using Design FMEA's, DFM/A's, BOM's, VA/VE's, DOE's, Ford TOPS 8-D Problem Solving Process, parts lists, parts catalogs, and use of common parts.

* Participated on a team to develop 2-cycle engine oil standards, and improved Marine grease.

* 2 years supervising a current product 2-stroke outboard engine team enhancing product performance, and improving durability, by analyzing and diagnosing product test, and field failure data. Interfaced with Manufacturing to reduce cost and improve quality.

* Experienced in printing press machine design using electronic sensors, actuators, transducers, and machine controllers, improving performance and accuracy of stamped products.

* Developed two successful fuel system calibrations for a 9L engine to operate at a single speed for genset applications.

* Applied single speed engines to optimize performance of both the engine, and genset for Mid-Range, Heavy Duty, and High Horse Power projects.

* Designed and patented a new impression system to increase foil stamping capability by 5 times.

* Introduced statistical analysis to a new foil control system design to improve accuracy to best in

the industry.

* Redesigned and documented press parts and assemblies to reduce press assembly cycle times by 40% and costs by 30%.
