Operations Management:
Effectively managed NCIS operations in three different locations covering two different European nations (2011-2012). Effectively managed DoD counterintelligence/force protection activities in Djibouti, Kenya, and Ethiopia (Mar-Sep11). Effectively managed NCIS operations in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq (Jan-Apr09).
Project Management:
Initiated and spearheaded effort to acquire funding for equipment to modernize training applications at the NCIS Training Academy, which resulted in the acquisition of 100 Sig Sauer Training Pistols (2010-2011). This upgraded and modernized the NCIS Training Academy training techniques.
Staff Development:
Developed, enhanced, oversaw, and introduced several training programs while at the NCIS Training Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, GA. These programs were well-received (2009-2011).

The NCIS mission is to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats to the United States Navy and Marine Corps-ashore, afloat, and in cyberspace. From November 2011 until November 2012, served as the Supervisory Special Agent for the Combating Terrorism (CT) Squad, as well as the NCIS Resident Unit (NCISRU) Aviano, IT and NCISRU London, UK offices. Mentored direct reports and ensured the Field Office Tactical Plan was executed. Directed strategy of more active engagement with U.S. Navy Security elements as well as Host Nation law enforcement/intelligence personnel to increase flow of information about possible terrorist activity. Expanded source of information network by motivating subordinates to increase their sphere of influence outside of the law enforcement/intelligence community. Identified areas of weakness and implemented proactive measures to increase flow of germane information to NCIS.

While still employed as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, deployed to Djibouti, Africa to serve as the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) Task Force Counterintelligence Coordinating Authority. Coordinated all Department of Defense counterintelligence (CI) activities in the CJTF-HOA Area of Responsibility (primarily Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya) and keeping the CJTF-HOA Commander (U.S. Navy Admiral) apprised of all CI activities and investigations. Attended weekly meetings at the U.S. Embassy and met with the Country Team for de-confliction purposes. Directly supervised three teams of CI professionals operating in Ethiopia and Djibouti.

From June of 2006 until March of 2011, served in leadership roles such as Field Training Agent (Camp Fallujah, Iraq), Senior Resident Agent (Camp Al Asad, Iraq), Supervisory Special Agent for the NCIS Resident Agency Iraq, and Supervisory Special Agent for the NCIS Training Academy Advanced Training Programs. Deployed to Iraq three different times in leadership roles described above. Supported U.S. Marine Corps forces in Iraq by providing criminal, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence support to the Marine Expeditionary Forces in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq. At the NCIS Training Academy, provided oversight to Program Coordinators, Instructors, Training Technicians, and Training Specialists for the planning and execution of all advanced level Criminal, Combating Terrorism (CbT), and Counterintelligence training requirements for NCIS. Ensured instructional material was current and approved by the NCIS Training Academy Learning Standards Officer prior to any institutional accreditation assessment. Collaborated with Program Coordinators to compile fiscal year annual master training plans. Almost every investigation was a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional, and multi-defendant drug investigation that required the cooperation between numerous local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
