user interfaces for a large-scale (~8 million lines of code)
distributed process data analysis system. The system is hosted on Sun
SPARC platforms and built on the SOLARIS 2.5.1 operating system. User
applications are developed using C, C++ and MOTIF/X11R5. Developed
system maintenance scripts using various UNIX scripting languages
including Perl and Korn shell. Performed initial analysis of software
problem reports on the ASAS-Light system. Programming for this system
is written with Visual C++ based on an NT 4.0 operating system.
Conducted analysis and preliminary scripting of the Rational Robot
automated test software for use on the ASAS-L system.
Apr 96
- Apr 99, L3 Communications - Ilex Systems, Sierra Vista, AZ
Software Engineer
: Assigned to the ASAS-SS system software
development team. The ASAS-SS system is hosted on SPARC and Intel
platforms and built on the SOLARIS 2.6 and SOLARIS 2.6 x86 operating

X11R6/MOTIF. System maintenance functionality was implemented via
various Unix scripting languages including C Shell, Korn/Bourne Shell,
and TCL/TK. Responsible for performing analysis, design, development,
testing, maintenance, and briefings for assigned areas of

code and documentation. Examined system modules to determine the
operational and functional capabilities with sufficient detail to
perform modifications, enhancements, and corrections as determined
necessary. As a member of the Y2K upgrade team, identified
deficiencies and developed solutions for several critical modules that
were determined to be non-Y2K compliant. Redesigned and reprogrammed
mission sensitive user interfaces in JAVA/Swing.
