business, and a credit card segment.

Group Human Resources Leader/Director, Overland Park, KS 20072010

Created and directed a Human Resources strategy for 76 Target stores with over $2.43

billion in sales, over 600 exempt team members, and 12,000 non-exempt team members. Led a

team of eight to achieve results in process improvement, development, talent acquisition,

compensation, retention, and employee relations.

* Designed and oversaw execution of a talent development strategy that led to fully

staffing senior level positions internally, exceeding company promotional goals, creating

a bench of District Team Leader talent, and reducing recruiting and relocation costs by

$404,000.

* Directed the creation and implementation of the stores staffing plan that resulted in

an improvement in productivity, a reduction of overtime hours, and a reduction of hourly

expense rate by 5.7% vs. LY. Managed an exempt recruiting team that executed talent

acquisition goals to hire and onboard over 200 exempt level team members and 90 interns.
