My role at Mobile Conex is quite varied, covering a number of different disciplines ranging from the initial stage of
proposal preparation, through to the coordination of software development life-cycle activities including requirements
gathering and documentation, UML modeling, interface design and prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment,
and training. To ensure quality, reliability and accuracy of deliverables, all projects are closely managed and adhere to
industry standard and best practices.
As a Project Manager I act as a liaison between the client, the creative team, and the technical team, being responsible
for allocating team resources, planning and scheduling future work, developing technical/functional specifications,
recommending and implementing solutions, meeting specific deadlines, reviewing architecture models for all project
initiatives, troubleshooting, and providing product support to clients.
As a Web Designer and Developer my focus relies on creating simple and usable websites, which are fully hand-coded with
valid standard markup, cross-browser compatible, W3C validated and SEO optimized.
As a UI/UX Designer my mission is to create high-impact designs that make our web and mobile products intuitive,
efficient, and fun. I breathe life into creative ideas and static mock-ups via the technical know-how. I m also able to
lend a hand to the visual design aspect of a project and talk to my design rationales.
In the mobile space I have effectively lead small and medium-sized teams in consulting and internal projects (such as
daFlicks for BlackBerry) through product research, prototyping, development, testing, feature enhancement and
integration among other responsibilities, in times of high pressure and stress.

phase of the official eBay BlackBerry app, in addition to creating the UI specification describing all the screens and
their intended behavior in full detail.

the application interface.
Designed a collection of interactive mockups to capture the whole user interface experience of the application
with a focus on the visual design elements of the application.
Collaborated with other UI designers where overlap between product areas and features naturally occurred.
Contributed to user research efforts and contextual inquiry.
Executed test cases for build acceptance, functionality and regression tests, and communicate all critical issues
to project manager and development team.
Performed compatibility and usability testing on different versions of BlackBerry OS and devices.
Responsible for the design and execution of a pilot usability study, including data collection and analysis, to
address user interface and navigation issues. Resulting findings and recommendations were documented.
Conducted and executed the design, development, and setup of an Intranet Discussion Board based on WordPress
in order to enhance team s communication and highlight questions and problems faced in the life-cycle of the
team s projects from design to launch.
Demonstrated abilities in quickly grasping new technical knowledge by contributing to the development of a
prototype application for the 2009 BlackBerry Developer Conference, in order to provide a better insight of the
next generation web-based development platform which enabled web developers to build full-featured applications
for BlackBerry smartphones entirely in HTML-5, CSS and JavaScript, taking advantage of advanced features
through APIs and services, just as BlackBerry Java applications can do.
