Welcome

To the interactive resume for Bobby Martin. I am a senior at Florida State University set to graduate in December 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the College of Communication and Information. I am a leader that specializes in network management with real life experience as a network specialist in the Marine Corps. I am set apart from my peers because of my experience handling real networks and users in deployed environments such as Camp Pendleton, California and Iraq, and leading those who operated those networks.

My 15 second pitch:

“My name is Robert Martin and I am a Network Manager specializing in tactical wide area network setup and operation. I am an active duty Marine with a year-long combat tour in which I served as the wide area network data team leader.

Few people can say that they have set up a network or fixed its problems under both metaphorical and literal fire. I am one of those people. I have not only managed large networks myself, but also the Marines that have been the main operators of those networks.

If you want someone decisive, enthusiastic, and cool under pressure, I’m your man.”
