Objective and I am a full-time student of George Mason University and a veteran of the US Marine

background Corps. I am dedicated, self-sufficient, organized and knowledgeable in the field of

Information Technology and looking for a part time position in IT support, network

administration, software development and web development.

IT technical Approximately 15 years of experience working with IT and computer

experience systems, including:

Physically building, repairing, upgrading and reconfiguring computer systems ranging

in size and application from netbooks and game consoles to desktops, home servers

and workstations; and ranging in scope from replacing individual chips to

manufacturing custom cases. Strong understanding of modern computer architectures

and related technology.

Installing, configuring and maintaining various operating systems including almost all

versions of Windows, several different Linux distributions and other Unix-like operating

systems, and many other older and/or proprietary operating systems.

Configuring and deploying secure networks of varying topographies, including physical

and wireless elements and several types of devices such as desktops, laptops, printers,

networked storage, routers, extenders, signal relays and network switches. Strong

Designing and developing software utilizing several different programming languages,

demonstrations. Strong understanding of fundamental software design principles such

and scaling, etc. Familiarity with many popular APIs and software packages. Experience

working with others using version control systems such as SVN and CVS. Experienced

software debugger and hardware troubleshooter.

Designing, publishing and maintaining online content, including remotely configuring a

web server (Apache) and supporting packages (i.e., MySQL) and producing graphics and
