SUMMARY:

Rory Bryant has more than 9 years of design experience in construction and engineering. For 6 years Rory specialized in Water and Sewer Projects in remote Alaskan villages. Additional work includes Architectural, Electrical & Mechanical Design, and Graphic Arts. In 2010 Rory began operating as a freelance AutoCAD Technician under the name Curlew Graphics. With AutoCAD 2012 Rory is able to provide graphic support to engineers, architects, and contractors for their local and rural project needs.

Ed Barrington. Design Technician. August 2011. I have been contracted by Ed Barrington to develop construction plans for him to take to an engineer or architect for approval. I am providing drafting services to him for a 24 foot x 20 foot addition onto his home that he will have constructed during the Summer of 2012.

Summit Consulting Services

. Lead Design Technician, IT Technician. September 2004 - April 2010. I worked directly with Engineers, Engineers-In-Training, On-Site Superintendents, Surveyors, Contract Electricians and Mechanics, and Project Management Specialists all over Alaska via email, fax, phone, and mail. Extensive experience in presenting needed materials in a timely manner in high quality drawings, images, and pdfs.

Ed Barrington. Design Technician

. August 2002 to January 2005. I was contracted by Ed Barrington to produce a construction planset for him to do a complete teardown and extensive remodel on a section of an existing home in Anchorage, Alaska. Once the design was completed he went to EEIS to have the drawings approved and then obtained Permitting and Approval to Construct. Construction on his home began the summer of 2005 and was completed by the end of the summer of 2006.
