Summary:

I am seeking a challenging and rewarding position utilizing my extensive experience in the

management, operation and maintenance of marine vessels and operations. I have hands on

knowledge with operations from New England, Florida, Great Lakes, Erie Canal, Alaska Inside

Passage and throughout the Caribbean, Palau, Micronesia and Baja, Mexico. I have participated

in live a board diving operations, commercial fishing, casino boats, cruise ships and charter

yachts engaged in upscale dining and entertainment cruises. I operated cruise ships in the Great

Lakes, Erie Canal, NE Islands and Chesapeake Bay, Alaska Inside Passage and Baja, Mexico.

Worked with ISM programs, COI inspections, complete refits, Project Management, SOLAS

inspections and External and Internal audits for the ISM inspections. Make sure cruise vessels

are kept up to CDC and Company standards.

Licensed:

USCG Licensed Master, 1600/3000 ITC, Oceans, Radar Unlimited, STCW 95, GMDSS, ARPA,

BRM. Crowd Control, Crisis Management, MMD AB-Unlimited. Dive Master, VSO, Medical

First Aid Provider, TWIC card.

02/11 to 03/11 Yacht Keepers/Sky Research

Seattle, WA

Operated a 30 Munson Landing Craft assisting with dive operations in Elliott Bay, Seattle WA.

Worked with a team of six divers as dive support vessel. Used vessel to bring divers out and to

stay on station to assist divers as needed. Maintained vessel as needed, and performed safety

checks.

03/07 to 09/10 Cruise West, M/V Spirit Of Yorktown, M/V Spirit Of Endeavor

Seattle, WA

Captain 257ft, 138 passenger vessel. Weekly cruises in Alaska up the Inside Passage, San

Francisco, Napa Valley and Baja, Mexico. Project Manager on vessel refit. ABS and USCG

vessel. Crew Training, Implementing ISM policies and keeping vessel up to USCG and

company regulations. Customer Service, responsible for purchasing of deck department

supplies and equipment. Working within other departments onboard the vessel and ashore to

assure smooth operation of vessel.

10/06 to 03/07 Atlantic Casino Cruises, M/V Atlantic Casino

Miami, Fl

Captain 220ft, 100 ton, 600 passenger casino vessel. Project Manager of a complete

Refit. Working with the USCG to get current COI. Safety inspections and overseeing marine

crew. Working with shipyard to complete work up to USCG standards. Project Manager

5/06 to 9/06 American Canadian Cruise Line, M/V Grande Mariner

Warren, RI

Captain 184ft Blount built small passenger vessel. Run weekly cruises in the Great Lakes, Erie

Canal and NE Islands. Implement ISM and SOLAS regs. Keep vessel up to USCG regs.

Comply with CDC regulations. Crew training, vessel maint. Insure the safety of up 100

passengers and safe navigation of vessel. Customer service. Purchasing and repairs of vessel.

7/05 to 5/06 Aqua Venture Int Corp, M/Y LONE STAR

Full time Captain/Project Manager of 65 Hatteras Sport Fish. Oversee complete refit of vessel

including Fine finish work, electronic, electrical and plumbing installation. Also responsible for

purchasing and working within budget. In charge of vessel operation and complete up keep

12/03 to 7/05 Summer Wind Yacht Charters, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl

Lead Captain for two yachts, a 90ft aluminum vessel and a 120 ft steel Skipperliner. Duties

Included refits, USCG COI inspections, crew training and complete operations and maintaince.

Vessels are engaged in dinner charters in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

8/03-12/03 MPH Entertainment, Savanah, GA.

Captain of the 188 801 ITC tons Panamanian flagged casino vessel. Also worked with flag state

representatives and USCG to bring vessel M/V MILLIONIARE CASINO up to SOLAS and

USCG K class regulations. Supervised the complete dry-docking and refit as well as participated

in the training of the foreign crew. Implemented an ISM and safety management system.

2/03-7/03 Clipper Cruise Line, St. Louis MO.

Chief Mate on the 210 M/V NANTUCKET CLIPPER and the 245 M/V YORKTOWN

CLIPPER. Both of these small passenger vessels transport passengers to various ports

throughout the Pacific, Atlantis, Great Lakes and the Caribbean.

10/02-2/03 Summer Wind Yacht Charters, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Captain aboard a 97 Aluminum Yacht. Responsibilities included all of the maintenance and

training of crew. Vessel was engaged in dinner charters in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

7/02-10/02 Royal Casino Cruises, Hollywood, FL.

Captain on a 140 casino vessel. Participated in the approval process for the vessel s USCG COI

as well as maintenance and customer service.

3/02-7/02 Atlantic Casino Cruises, Gloucester, MA.

Captain on a 140 295 ton and a 208 473 ton vessels. After delivering vessels from Florida to

Gloucester I attained the USCG COI for both, oversaw the installation of all gaming equipment

and safety gear and crew training.

5/01-3/02 Sun Cruz Casinos, Little River, SC.

Captain on a 207 99 ton casino boat. Responsibilities included purchasing and scheduling dry

dockings and repairs.

6/98-5/01 Peter Hughes Diving, Coral Gables, FL.

Fleet Captain/Engineer and Purchasing Manager for a fleet of live a board dive boats ranging in

size from 120 to 145 . Arranged for crew training, purchasing of parts, dry dockings and

provided relief as Captain. All maintenance, delivery of spares and major repairs were completed

where the vessels were operating to allow vessels to operate world wide with no interruption of

service.

10/96-5/98 Casino Miami, Dupont Plaza, Miami, FL.

Promoted from Chief Mate to Captain on the M/V ENTERTAINER, a 208 473 ton casino boat.

The Entertainer had a passenger capacity of 473 plus the crew of 53.

4/95-10/96 Peter Hughes Diving, Coral Gables, FL.

Captain/Engineer/Operations Manager for the 120 99 ton steel hull M/V WIND DANCER

while the boat was based in Roatan Honduras. Vessel provided year round world class live a

board dive excursions throughout the islands off Honduras. The WIND dancer had a capacity for

20 passengers and 7 crew. Responsibilities included maintenance and upkeep, crewing, customer

service in addition to the necessary liaison with the local government authorities.
