Currently teaches Fundamentals of Technology I, a required course for

all freshmen at Southeast High School. Students learn the fundamentals

of keyboarding and the procedures of learning to type. Students then

proceed to obtain working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and

presentation software. Students will also focus on business office

setting and business etiquette.

Additionally, teaches Web Page Specialization, a Web-related course

which uses various web programs, such as Adobe Master Collection CS4 and

FrontPage 2003 to implement Web page and Web site designs. Acquaints

students with the proper procedures to design and create Web Pages

suitable for course work, professional purposes, and personal use.

Provides an introduction to managing collections of related Web pages.

Exposes students to practical examples of the computer as a useful tool,

grant allotted funds to start a student business that markets tee

shirts to raise funds for school incentives. Project Reach & Teach

1998-1999 and then Project Teens & Tees 1999-2000.

Used co-written grant for Business Partnership Grant which allotted

funds for an integrated thematic curriculum. Students received their

"Jungle of Knowledge" education by participating in hands-on

learning experiences at ZooWorld. In turn students became mentors

and developed lessons taught at elementary schools within Bay

County.

Learn and Serve Grant partner which involved student volunteers to

gather products necessary to make disaster-preparedness kits and

provided informational services for the elderly in the Bay County

community.

All evaluations were above average. Met Professional Development

Plan requirements for all three years of employment.
