Chemical Engineer certified as a Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma Black

Belt (SSBB) by the American Society for Quality, with

over a decade of experience within an ISO 9001:2000 and OSHA Star Certified, Fortune 50 company.

Professional experience encompasses the technologies and processes

in primary alkaline and lithium battery manufacturing and supply chain quality management of global contract manufacturing sites in Europe and throughout Asia, with specialization in China. Experience also includes operations management of bulk chemical compounding and processing.

Roles & duties have spanned

positions of increasing responsibility ranging from a Production Supervisor

responsible for over 20 Mechanics and Machine Operators, to Quality Engineer

with managerial responsibilities over technicians and laboratory environments in

Failure Analysis and Chemical Analysis Labs, to Process Engineer using DMAIC

problem solving and Lean Manufacturing principles, leading and co-leading Rapid

Improvement/ Kaizen Events, and project execution for process innovation, cost

reduction, and efficiency improvement. Experience includes project quality

management roles in areas of battery-grade steel,

electroplating operations, lighting products, and

new product chemistries.

Experience includes role as internal company-wide trainer/ facilitator of InfinityQS

statistical process control software and of quantitative courses in statistical

process control for both general workforce training as well as Six Sigma Black

Belt programs.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (speaking).
