techniques using allozyme tests on Africanized bees.
Learned general differences in behavior between
European bees and Africanized bees.
Dr. Susanne Neurer- Arizona State University- Learned
salt-water cell culturing for single-celled photosynthetic
marine life. Learned to plot growth curves and use
statistical analysis.
Spring 2002 Dr. James Collins- Arizona State University- Learned
Tiger Salamander husbandry, cell culturing, amphibian
virology. Investigated the possibility of Goldfish being
carriers of ranaviruses in the US, and the spread of
infection to the United Kingdom, where a massive
die-off of amphibians has been recorded. Tested fish
from Arizona pet stores and breeders for ATV and RV3.
